Katherine: A Portrait Session with a Coffee Break

This is Katherine. She is one of the most magical people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I was honored to capture a bit of her personality in these photos. We wandered around Pioneer Square in downtown Seattle for a bit. Halfway through our portrait session, Katherine suggested grabbing coffee at Elm Coffee Roasters. Of course I continued to shoot as she sipped an espresso. It was magic.

I just can’t get over the incredible variety of backgrounds in this shoot. So many colors and textures all within a few blocks of each other. Shooting in the city is so inspiring!
