Portugal: On 35mm Film

Portugal is a dream destination, and it delivered some dreamy film photos!

From the moment I stepped foot on Portuguese soil, I was enchanted by this sunny brilliant country. My trip began in Lisbon, and it is a dream destination. I wrote a much longer blog post about my time in Lisbon: you can read it here. But I cannot say enough about the beauty that exists in this one city. These film photos are a celebration of that beauty.

From Lisbon, we did a quick day trip to Sintra, and it was breathtaking as well.

But views of the Lisbon skyline never got old. I spent hours wandering around this city; each time the skyline revealed itself, I was enchanted all over again.

The tiny side streets, alleyways, and cafes were enchanting in their own right. During our time in Lisbon, we became regulars at the sidewalk cafe pictured above, and that sort of experience on a trip is so special.

Honestly, I’m already itching to return to Lisbon, Portugal and soak up the sun, hand-painted tiles, and skylines all over again. Days spent roaming an ancient city as gorgeous as this one filled with people as friendly as Lisboetas? Yes, please!

Bonus points for Lisbon include the fact that it’s a very budget friendly destination, the food scene is excellent, and the city is teeming with art.

Until I get to return to Lisbon, I’ll just be staring at these lovely film shots.
