Gabriel: Urban Artist Headshots in Pioneer Square Seattle

Pioneer Square in downtown Seattle, WA is one of my favorite photo shoot locations. During this headshot session for artist Gabriel we found a plethora of gorgeous urban backgrounds perfect for portraits. A secret waterfall garden, doorways covered in street art, old cobblestone streets, charming little blue tables: Pioneer Square is a photographer’s dream.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: I love taking portraits of people doing their craft. Gabriel is a talented artist, and I am honored that he let photograph him while he sketched- a vital part of his creative process. The portraits resulting from these types of sessions are always some of my favorites.
